NEW COMPLETE LINE OF JUNCTIONS and WIRING CONSOLIDATION PRODUCTS FOR HAZARDOUS AREAS.
Minneapolis, MN-April 19, 2000-TURCK Inc. has introduced multibox NAMUR junction boxes and cordsets to eliminate multiple cable runs-simplifying and speeding up the wiring of sensors and other discrete input/output devices used in hazardous areas. These products can be used in Process or other intrinsic safety applications where consolidated wiring is needed.
The junction boxes come with one or two circuits per port, with common positive or isolated circuits. Common positive circuits cut down on wiring when installed and operated with approved associated apparatus such as TURCK's MK-series switching amplifiers. These four-port junction boxes are fully encapsulated, have rugged nylon housings and are available with PLTC rated integral cable or in quick disconnect versions, for plug-and-play convenience.
Other TURCK solutions that simplify and consolidate wiring include molded junctions and splitters in a wide selection of cable lengths. The VBRS is a two-branch molded splitter, designed to be used with multibox junction boxes to simplify the wiring of two sensors into one port.
The VB2 molded junctions make things easier by cleaning up common wiring in devices, particularly those that need a junction with fewer than four ports. All connecting cables are blue jacketed to effectively identify the intrinsically safe NAMUR circuits and devices.
