Construction
Yellow polycarbonate / ABS housing, sealed acrylic lens. Rated IP67 (NEMA 6). M18x1 threaded "nose" on E/R, LP, LV, CV, and D models. M3 mounting hardware included. Mounting centers are identical to MINI-BEAM sensors. 6-1/2 foot (2m) integral cable, 30 foot (9m) integral cable, or 6 inch (150mm) pico-type QD pigtail. QD cable must be purchased separately.

Sensing Modes, Ranges, and Light Source Types
Opposed sensing mode (2 ranges): 3m (10 ft) and 20m (66 ft);
Retroreflective sensing mode: polarized 3.5m (12 ft), non-polarized 6.5m (21 ft);
Diffuse sensing mode: 450mm (18 in);
Wide-angle Diffuse mode: 100mm (4 in);
Convergent sensing mode (2 ranges): focus at 16mm (0.63 in) and 43mm (1.7 in)
Light source for opposed and diffuse models is 940nm infrared; retroreflective and convergent models are
660nm visible red.
Indicators
Dual "wrap-around" LEDs (green and red) located on top front of sensor.
GREEN glowing steadily = dc power "on".
GREEN flashing = output overloaded.
RED glowing steadily = light sensed.
RED flashing = marginal excess gain in the light condition (1-1.5x).
Adjustment
Convergent, diffuse, wide-angle diffuse, and LV retroreflective models only: single-turn o-ring sealed "sensitivity" potentiometer on rear of sensor housing

Output Types and Capacities
Solid-state complementary dc solid-state switch.
Choose fron NPN (sinking) or PNP (sourcing) models (light and dark operate in same sensor).
One output may be used as a low excess gain alarm output.
Output capacity is 100 mA maximum, each output. Off-state leakage current less than 50 microamperes at 30V dc; on-state saturation voltage less than 1V at 10 mA and less than 1.5V at 100 mA.
Output Response Time and Repeatability
Opposed mode: 750 microseconds ON, 375 microseconds OFF (repeatability 100 microseconds).
All other modes: 600 microseconds ON / OFF (repeatability 150 microseconds).
Operating Conditions
Temperature: -20 degrees to +70 degrees C (-4 degrees to +158 degrees F).
Relative humidity: 90% at 50 degrees C (non-condensing).
